Adam Foster Lewental
Adam Foster Lewental served as Intellectual Property Counsel at Virgin Hyperloop One for over three years, starting shortly after the ambitious start-up’s founding. As the longest tenured member of the legal team, he oversaw the entirety of the company’s intellectual property program, including patent prosecution, trademark strategy, and IP obligations, as the company grew to over 300 employees and hundreds of millions of dollars in funding. Adam also worked at Womble Bond Dickson, LLP, where guided clients ranging from small manufacturers to trillion-dollar technology companies in the electrical, mechanical and software sectors in drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
Adam’s expertises are broad, from helping his clients build world class patent portfolios to reviewing contracts and sales agreements to help ensure that their global intellectual property interests are protected. Companies also turn to Adam for guidance in Freedom to Operate and Patent Landscape searches, as well as Lanham Act actions, corporate formation, patent infringement, and trademark strategy.
